How we work
A claim should show its roots
Our methodology keeps textual tradition, physiological explanation, and clinical evidence in separate lanes—then makes the boundaries visible on the page.
1. Start with the source
Textual instructions name the work, chapter or verse, translation where relevant, and lineage differences. We do not turn a late haṭha instruction into a claim that every yoga tradition teaches the same method.
Modern health claims require traceable human evidence. We prefer primary research, systematic reviews, and public-health or clinical guidance; we do not fabricate citations or use popularity as evidence.
2. Grade what the source can support
The labels are a ceiling, not a ladder that every claim must climb.
Traditional
A claim about what a text or lineage teaches.
Mechanistic
A measured process or plausible explanation, without proof of a clinical benefit.
Observational
An association vulnerable to confounding and selection effects.
Preliminary clinical
Early controlled human evidence that remains uncertain.
Clinical
Robust, relevant, replicated human evidence; never shorthand for guaranteed treatment.
3. Put safety before practice
Contraindications and stop-signals appear before guided practice. Automated guidance is limited to protocols explicitly marked appropriate; advanced or intense practices are not made safer merely by putting them in a player.
Health language stays conservative, avoids treatment promises, and points readers to qualified professionals when individual assessment matters.
4. Translate meaning, then review risk
English and Hindi drafts are edited as real language, not word-for-word substitution. Sanskrit terms remain in Devanagari and IAST where precision matters.
No machine-translated health content is marked reviewed without a human checking medical meaning, tone, stop-signals, and technique vocabulary.
5. Publish accountability
A reviewed page names its author and reviewer, states relevant credentials, and displays the review date. Draft banners remain until those conditions are met.
Current reviewer and author biographies are placeholders. The site must not imply endorsements or credentials that do not yet exist.
6. Correct in both languages
A substantive correction is applied to every affected locale and structured-data field, then queued for re-review when it changes safety or meaning.
A public corrections contact and changelog are planned. Until they exist, pages state that limitation instead of pretending the workflow is complete.
